Groups
In addition to the statutory bodies described here, several types of groups may be formed within the IAOA.
Scientific Committees and Special Interest Groups
Scientific committees and SIGs pursue significant long-term activity in technical areas within the broad field of the Association. Scientific committees are responsible for carrying out some tasks on behalf of the Executive Council, led by a chair or co-chairs designated by the Executive Council.
Regional Chapters
The IAOA can have Regional Chapters. If you are interested in forming one, please see the “how to set up a Regional Chapter” page and let us know.
Administrative Committees
The Executive Council may form administrative committees as called for, supporting particular lines of administrative responsibility. Each administrative committee is led by an Officer designated by the Executive Council.
