The International Conferences on Formal Ontology in Information Systems (FOIS)
The FOIS conference series began with the first meeting in Trento, Italy,
in June 1998, followed by meetings in 2001 (Ogunquit, Maine), 2004 (Torino), 2006 (Baltimore), 2008 (Saarbrücken), 2010 (Toronto), 2012 (Graz), and 2014 (Rio de Janeiro).
The 9th FOIS conference was held in Annecy, France, between July 4-6, 2016.
