Episode VI: The Bolzano Summer of Knowledge
The Joint Ontology WOrkshops (JOWO) is a venue of workshops that, together, address a wide spectrum of topics related to ontology research, ranging from Cognitive Science to Knowledge Representation, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Logic, Philosophy, and Linguistics.
JOWO 2020 is held in conjunction with BOSK 2020: The Bolzano Summer of Knowledge.

Accepted Workshops for JOWO 2020
JOWO 2020 "The Bolzano Summer of Knowledge" Edition will bring together a total of 16 workshops and 4 tutorials affiliated with the conferences EKAW, FOIS, and ICBO.
Eight workshops will be taking place virtually between August 31st and October 7th, 2020 (see Venue section). The remaining JOWO 2020 workshops affiliated with FOIS 2021, ICBO 2021, and ICCS 2021 will take place in Bolzano, Italy, in conjunction with BOSK 2021.

Important Dates:
- Saturday, February 15, 2020: workshop and tutorial proposals submission
- Sunday, March 1st, 2020: notification
- Monday, March 16, 2020: 1st call for papers to be distributed by workshop organizers
- August 31st to October 7th, 2020: JOWO 2020 takes place virtually

Registration:
JOWO 2020 registration is handled through BOSK 2020. Participation in JOWO workshops and other BOSK events and keynotes is free. At least one author per submission must pay a registration fee. For full details, see the BOSK 2020 registration page.
