Events

IAOA events are events directly (co-)organised by the Association.

The flagship IAOA conference is the The International Conference on Formal Ontology in Information Systems (FOIS), held every year (since 2023). See the page FOIS History page  for more information.

Other main IAOA events include:

• The Interdisciplinary Summer School on Applied Ontology (ISAO); see the ISAO history page.
• The Joint Ontology Workshops (JOWO); see the JOWO history page.
• The IAOA Summer Institute; the last event was the 2019 Summer Institute.
